Never Knit Your Man A Sweater Don't put them in the dryer - socks page 63 On page 63 of Never Knit Your Man a Sweater, under the Turning the Heel Heading. Row 1 should read as follows: Row 1 (wrong side): Slip 1, P9, slip 1, P2tog, turn. As a check, after having worked the Set Up Row and Row 1 there should be unworked 9 stitches after the decrease at each end of the heel needle. The rest of the heel turn is worked back and forth on the center 12 stitches, gradually decreasing away the stitches at each side. The "P11" that currently appears in Row 1 in the book is incorrect and will result in there being an unequal number of unworked stitches at each end of the needle after completing the Set Up Row and Row 1. Inserting the missing "slip 1" before the P2tog in Row 1 will cause the heel turn to be even more off-center. Therefore it is necessary to work P9, slip 1 before the P2tog decrease in Row 1 to center the heel properly |
