block 4: With C, pick up and knit 12 sts evenly spaced across top of Block 2, then 12 sts evenly spaced along right side of Block 3-24 sts total. Work Small Square, working Rows 1-3 with C, Rows 4-9 with I, and Rows 10-22 with A.

Never Knit Your Man A Sweater

Don't put them in the dryer - socks page 63

On page 63 of Never Knit Your Man a Sweater, under the Turning the Heel Heading. Row 1 should read as follows:

Row 1 (wrong side): Slip 1, P9, slip 1, P2tog, turn.

As a check, after having worked the Set Up Row and Row 1 there should be unworked 9 stitches after the decrease at each end of the heel needle. The rest of the heel turn is worked back and forth on the center 12 stitches, gradually decreasing away the stitches at each side.

The "P11" that currently appears in Row 1 in the book is incorrect and will result in there being an unequal number of unworked stitches at each end of the needle after completing the Set Up Row and Row 1. Inserting the missing "slip 1" before the P2tog in Row 1 will cause the heel turn to be even more off-center. Therefore it is necessary to work P9, slip 1 before the P2tog decrease in Row 1 to center the heel properly

Penny Straker  Potamska pattern #740

Under - To Shape Neck: This section should read: *Work 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 32 sts.*

Twinkle's Big City Knits

In addition, we have found the following:

Balthazar Vest-pg. 26-27

We think the bottom of the V-Neck will lay better if you tack it into place.

Coco Jacket-pg. 35

When picking up the neck stitches, for the medium the book says to pick up 30 stitches, we found it works better picking up 43 sts.

Best Friend Cardigan- pg. 88

body - row 5 - you work the all the m1's on that row one time only. So when it then says continue in established pattern, you do so without any further shaping until the sixth row when you start decreasing (which is shown under the heading AT THE SAME TIME).

Twiggy Tunic - pg. 119

Materials: 12 (14, 16, 18) balls of Twinkle Handknits Cruise

Gauge: Holding 4 strands together: 10 sts and 12 1/2 rows=4" (10 cm) in reverse st st on size 15 (10mm) needles

Notes: This sweater is worked holding 4 strands together throughout.

Mini Bolero- pg. 132

Body you should CO 76 (80, 84) not 74 (78, 82)

Marilyn Sweater - p. 134

--You should be casting on with black yarn, not cream

--When working sleeves, after you BO 29 sts You are at K2tog 3X. Knit the rest continuing pattern.

Rockerfeller Sweater - p. 149

-- Right front cable pattern is correct, but on the legend, the K2tog is missing

--Left front cable pattern chart: Showing cable cross on row #2, but it is a wrong side row - it should be on row 3

--Left front cable pattern in words: Row 2 and 6 should read: P2, K1, P4, K1, P2

-- under inc row-- 3rd column, 1st paragraph reads - 45(49, 53, 57) but

should read 43 (47, 51, 55)

-- Neck decreases - doesn't give you 4 sizes, it should read: 1,1,0,0 and 2, 2, 3, 3

-- divide for armholes-- 5th sentence it reads, place remaining 12, 13, 14, 15...should read 11 (12, 13, 14) so you still have a marker on either side of stitch for underarm. Then, Left Front: Place 11 (12, 13, 14) Underarm and Left Front sts on...

--the directions for the neck shaping is correct for this pattern, but the schematic is incorrect. so please following the written directions.

Magic Shawl - p 151

Pattern calls for 5, 6, 7 skeins. It is only 5 skeins.

Nicky Epstein's Beyond the Edge

p 140 Cardigan with Cabled Points

The gauge should read : 14 sts and 20 rows = 4 inches using size 11 needles and 1 strand of A and B held together.

I looked over the instructions carefully and I do not see where she is talking about the reserve sts.  The only place it states to place on holder is at the neck edge/shaping - after you make the collar, you pick these up and sew to collar.  The front band is made as you knit the fronts!

The sleeves rows are wrong!
Row 8 - should be Row 9
Row 9 should be row 11
Row 11 should be row 13
Row 13 should be row 15
Rows 15 and 17 should only be Row 17

The finishing should have read:
Pin collar to place and sew around the neck edge, including the sts on the holder!

Row 1: Where it says work 10 sts as row 1 of leaf chart, start at the stalk part of the graph--So you will work P4, K2, P3 and then you will be making 2 M1 in one stitch, so there will be 3 sts worked into that one stitch. Then, still on row 1, go to row 19, where the leaf pattern is called for K4, P2, K3, and repeat the M1 situation, making 3 sts in 1.
