This is a perfect hat for all outdoor activities. It is very soft to the touch, but is extremely warm due to the double stranded Fair Isle technique. 

This design also adds a bit of fun and color to your hiking outfit or your everyday winter attire. The corrugated ribbing keeps the hat tight around your ears. We like that for hiking because many hats tend to rise up as you move around a lot.
